Since we have a thread about how you got into EQ, I figured I would make a thread about favorite zones. Playing my wizard I loved dungeon crawling and my favorites are Lower Guk, Seb, Charasis and Dalnir. But I think the one zone I loved the most was Fear and yes I have been on 6hr cr's. I remember finally breaking Fear with one group, after many deaths, but what a rush.

Halas
Erud's Crossing
Barren Coast
For dungeons, I adored:
LDON Mistmoore
LDON Everfrost
All I can think of for the moment, will add more as others occur to me.

Blackburrow, basically where I cut my teeth on the game with my ranger. So much fun, and got to see and, sadly, help start some pretty epic trains.
Paludal Caverns is where I spent a lot of time getting some really good xp back in the day. So good from about 10 to 25 or so.
Karnor's Castle was pretty great. Another zone with some impressive trains, but was a lot of fun.
Hollowshade Moor, not sure it was exactly fun, but I made a lot of plat farming Ghowlik for the Elder Wolf Hide to sell in the bazaar.
Kael Drakkel, not sure so much is a zone I really liked, but I spent so much time there farming faction and raising my archery skill in the arena that it is seared into my memory.
I also really enjoy dungeons, so both Sebilis and Veksar ring a bell. Ghaniff also spent quite a bit of time in Lower Guk which was fun.

My basic formula from way back when always started in Crushbone gettin them belts  . I have always enjoyed the common lands. I never had a character above level 30, yet. I can't wait to log back in and level up! |
