Best place to farm animal pelts? I am trying to level up Tailoring a bit and need plenty and I haven't been finding ones I can use currently in the bazaar.
I have been in Nedaria's Landing currently, not having much success with High Quality, but I am getting a lot of Low and Medium Cat and Bear pelts. Is there any better place out there?

i have found gour'kar mesa bear caves is the best place to farm hq pelts and just past that is the spiders for silk

Crescent Reach is a great place to get high quality pelts. The bears seem to drop them more frequently, as well as the cats. HQ Wolf pelts seem more rare across the board. North Karana is also a great place to get HQ cat pelts.
Also, North Karana has the added benefit that HQ lion skins might drop off a highland lion. They're used to make fleeting and prescient fleeting quivers and sell for a pretty plat in the bazaar. They're very rare but the other pelts make the farming worth it.

I tried my hand at North Karana for some hours, I ended up with quite a haul of all kinds of pelts but only 1 HQ Lion pelt. I may wait until I am closer to the skill level for a Fleeting Quiver combine to head out there again. Since then I've been in Goru'kar Mesa and the HQ Bear Skins are dropping pretty frequently, which is nice.

You mean high quality lion skin, right? They're a very rare drop. HQ cat pelts should drop pretty frequently.

Yes HQ Lion Skin. I got a lot of Ruined and LQ, a few MQ and only one HQ on the lion skins.

Wow! Surprised at how few HQ cat pelts you got. I usually get a couple of stacks in around 3 hours. Sorry you had such bad luck.

Just seeing this post Shal. I am currently around 80. I have been trying to finish my trophy instead of increasing skill lately, though. I should get back to skill increases soon and will use this list.

I also have been trying to level up my tailoring. I got up to 340 (just made my first Prescient Quiver!) However, now I am having trouble find the Superb pelts I need to level higher(plus the fact that I am broke from buying pelts/silks). If anyone has some laying around I am willing to pay for them when I get some cash. I am just off the next level of silks (flawless) but just did 500 combines with 1 skill up, so will go back to Superb and level up without my trophy if I need to to get closer to Flawless. Anyway, I can't find them in the bazaar and getting less than a few a night is just so slow. So if you have extra please, please send them my way and let me know what you want for them. Much appreciated.
