For those that are interested in raiding, please contact Kenlailie. There is NO obligation to raid. This came up this evening (1/3/17) during a large group conversation. We would like to see who would like to do some raids. You can text Kenlailie at 260-242-8243, and leave name, level and time you could raid in the text.

I've never been much for raiding but as long as people showed up on time and listened to the raid leader, I'd give it a go as long as it wasn't one that took forever and a day to get through.

I, myself have never had a chance to try raiding, but I would like to get high enough so that I can try it.

way back when, i used to raid. It was alot of fun, but it took alot of time and effort by everyone involved. It can be very frustrating as well as very rewarding. I have yet to decide if I want to dedicate the time and effort raiding requires. I also would like to know some more specifics such as 1 night a week or 3?, how many hours we are going to set aside on such nights. general basics, before i commit. I dont want to commit and then say "no, this isnt for me".

I have discussed this with Ken. So far we figured that it's best if we try this on a weekend night due to the various other commitments we all have...such as jobs. Once we know who's going to try this out, then we will hash out all the details. If you want any more than that, get hold of Ken. His number is on this thread.

Yeah, the "job" thing is a real pain in the butt for raiding. If I were to do it at all, it'd only be on weekends or the rare long weekend if I could get it.

I have raided in the past. If we do raid, I can only raid on the weekends.

So far, weekends seem to be the best time to try any raids. Just my observation.

I would be in for trying a raid. I have never been on one before so there would, I think, need to be detailed instructions for those who've never been involved in one.

You are not the only one who has never raided. I have no idea what goes into a raid. I did, however see in Butcherblock an NPC for raiding at 40-60. Maybe set something up to try that (would involve shrouding I would imagine).

I would be up for raiding, but I am likely way too low for the current raiding content at 61. If we try to hit any of the mid level (65-75) raiding targets, I could probably contribute. I think Friday nights would be best for me.
I raided quite a bit in the past when the level cap was much lower. It can be a lot of fun, but can be a pain at times (wiping on a break-in to the "old school" Plane of Fear, then having to break in "naked" to try and get everyone rezzed, huge PITA!).
